Facililty

ForTheHorse is a state of the art new facility conveniently located between Calgary and Vancouver on the Shuswap plateau.  We enjoy a wonderful semi-arid, temperate, continental climate as well as easy access to the TransCanada Highway enroute to the I-5, Seattle, Portland and Spokane.

Holistic in nature, our horse accommodations consider life from the horse's perspective.  When possible horses enjoy a social setting within our very dynamic and complex herd.  Pasture rotation is used for grazing on excellent horse quality hay and grass.  Mountain spring water fills the water troughs.

Our hay is personally grown and harvested using only organic and biodynamic procedures.  We are a certified environmental farm and have met the necessary requirements for approval.

ForTheHorse equestrian centre is home to the Philippe Karl School of Légèreté from France.  Our peaceful and tranquil setting is excellent for those wanted to focus on learning légèreté.
